“Green Scare” is now on Facebook! I’ve been dragging my heels about creating another social-networking-stalking-blogging-kill-time-on-the-internet-doodad, but so many people have suggested it that I’m going to give it a whirl. The “Green Scare” MySpace page has driven a TON of traffic to the website, and it’s also put me in touch with some great folks that I wouldn’t have met otherwise.
I’ve been informed Facebook is less slutty than MySpace (read: fewer half-naked 16 year olds posing in their bathroom and sending messages like “dood the war on terror sux LOL”), so I’m optimistic.
I’ve imported the GreenIsTheNewRed.com RSS feed into the “notes” section on Facebook. And I’ll also be adding some features so that you can pass on interesting GreenIsTheNewRed.com posts to your Facebook friends.
I’d love to use the viral nature of Facebook to get some good discussions going about the “Green Scare,” (personal experiences, ideas moving forward, sharing news, you name it). Thoughts?
